Microsoft Sentinel, Elk in Siem Administration-soc (Bengaluru)

About the Role

In this role, you'll be responsible for administering and managing Microsoft Sentinel, a cloud-native security information and event management (SIEM) solution. You'll work with ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) stack to collect, process, and analyze log data from various sources. Your primary goal will be to ensure the security and integrity of our SIEM systems, identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Microsoft Sentinel to collect and process log data from various sources.
• Implement and maintain ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) to analyze and visualize log data.
• Develop and maintain SIEM rules and playbooks to detect and respond to security threats.
• Collaborate with the security team to identify and prioritize security incidents.
• Design and implement data retention and archiving policies for log data.
• Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments on SIEM systems.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends, and implement countermeasures as needed.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 0-4 years of experience in SIEM administration, security operations, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Sentinel, ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and SIEM administration.
• Knowledge of CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) and ECE (Ethical Hacking and Countermeasures) certifications.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Elastic and SOC environments.
• Strong understanding of security concepts, threat intelligence, and incident response.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
