Audit and Assurance - Semi Qualified CA - Gurgaon

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of audits, ensuring compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). You will work closely with the audit team to identify and assess risks, and develop audit plans to address these risks. Your day-to-day tasks will involve reviewing financial statements, conducting fieldwork, and documenting audit findings.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of audits, including risk assessment and audit planning.
• Review financial statements and identify areas of risk and potential audit issues.
• Conduct fieldwork, including interviews with clients and observation of business processes.
• Document audit findings and prepare audit reports.
• Assist in the development of audit procedures and checklists.
• Participate in audit team meetings and contribute to the discussion of audit findings and recommendations.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

• Candidate should be a Semi Qualified CA (Chartered Accountant) with a strong understanding of auditing principles and practices.
• Knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is essential.
• Familiarity with audit software and tools, such as IGAAP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess risks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field.
