DevOps Engineer

About the Role

As a DevOps Engineer at InfoVision Inc., you will be responsible for bridging the gap between development and operations teams by ensuring smooth deployment, scaling, and monitoring of software systems. Your primary focus will be on automating processes, implementing continuous integration and delivery pipelines, and providing high-quality infrastructure support.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues, optimize system performance, and implement security measures to protect against potential threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation.
• Collaborate with development teams to automate testing, build, and deployment processes.
• Implement monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack to ensure system performance and uptime.
• Work with security teams to implement and maintain security best practices, such as encryption, access controls, and vulnerability management.
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve overall efficiency.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 system availability and respond to production issues promptly.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of DevOps principles, practices, and tools.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with version control systems like Git and SVN.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements.
