Talend Admin

About the Role

This Talend Administration role involves hands-on experience with Talend for administration and support activities, working knowledge of ETL concepts and data integration processes, and exposure to AWS cloud services used in data platform environments.

As a Talend Admin, you will be responsible for performing routine operational tasks, troubleshooting issues, and following defined support procedures, while also maintaining platform stability by supporting patch updates, connector management, and version upgrades under guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform basic Talend Administration Center tasks such as simple scheduling updates, deployments support, and user access management.
• Assist with deployments and release processes, checking for job failures or delays and coordinating with development teams to resolve issues.
• Support performance checks and help with simple job or configuration improvements.
• Maintain platform stability by supporting patch updates, connector management, and version upgrades under guidance.
• Carry out routine operational activities including log checks, environment validation, and execution reports.
• Follow security and access control guidelines and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities as part of standard operations.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degrees in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Talend Administration experience.
• Working knowledge of ETL concepts and data integration processes.
• Exposure to AWS cloud services used in data platform environments.
• Familiarity with deployment pipelines / CI CD processes and release coordination.
• Basic understanding of enterprise data platforms and how ETL jobs interact with downstream systems.
• Clear and professional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, production support environments.
