Maximo Testing/Validation Consultant

About the Role

As a Maximo Testing/Validation Consultant at Infosys, you will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate their digital transformation journey. Your primary responsibilities will include diagnosing problem areas, designing innovative solutions, and facilitating deployment to ensure client delight.

You will work closely with the Infosys consulting team to develop proposals, plan activities, configure products, and conduct solution/product demonstrations. Your ability to think logically, collaborate effectively, and assess current processes will be essential in identifying improvement areas and suggesting technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop proposals by owning parts of the proposal document and providing inputs in solution design based on areas of expertise.
• Plan and configure product activities as per design, conduct conference room pilots, and assist in resolving queries related to requirements and solution design.
• Conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops, and prepare effort estimates that suit customer budgetary requirements and align with organizational financial guidelines.
• Lead small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives to provide high-quality value-adding solutions to customers.
• Assess current processes, identify improvement areas, and suggest technology solutions to clients.
• Collaborate with the consulting team to develop value-creating strategies and models that enable clients to innovate, drive growth, and increase business profitability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, and apply this knowledge to provide innovative solutions to clients.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of IBM Maximo and experience in functional testing.
• Good understanding of software configuration management systems.
• Ability to assess current processes and identify improvement areas.
• Logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent client-facing skills and project management abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or business administration.
• One or two industry domain knowledge areas.
