Java GCP Developer

About the Role

As a Java GCP Developer at Infosys, you will be responsible for designing, developing, validating, and supporting cloud-based applications on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Java. Your primary role will be to ensure that client requirements are met by translating functional and non-functional requirements into system requirements.

You will play a key role in the overall estimation of work requirements to provide accurate project estimations to Technology Leads and Project Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex cloud-based applications on GCP using Java.
• Translate functional and non-functional requirements into system requirements.
• Estimate work requirements to provide accurate project estimations to Technology Leads and Project Managers.
• Contribute to building efficient programs and systems that meet client requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery.
• Develop and maintain high-quality code, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure that code meets the required standards.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java programming language.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its services.
• Knowledge of design principles and fundamental architecture.
• Understanding of performance engineering and quality processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Basic understanding of project domain and ability to translate functional/non-functional requirements to system requirements.
• Able to design and code complex programs.
• Able to write test cases and scenarios based on specifications.
• Awareness of latest technologies and trends.
• Logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
