Informatica BDM, Unix, SQL(Support role)

About the Role

This Informatica BDM Support role involves providing level 2 and 3 production support for Informatica BDM (Big Data Management) and DEI workflows, ensuring seamless data processing and job execution.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing BDM jobs, sessions, and workflows, troubleshooting failures in Spark-based mappings and big data pipelines, and analyzing logs to resolve issues related to data processing and job execution.

You will also work extensively on Unix/Linux systems for monitoring and troubleshooting, develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and batch processing, and perform file handling, process monitoring, and system checks.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide level 2 and 3 production support for Informatica BDM (Big Data Management) and DEI workflows.
• Monitor and manage BDM jobs, sessions, and workflows.
• Troubleshoot failures in Spark-based mappings and big data pipelines.
• Analyze logs to resolve issues related to data processing and job execution.
• Work extensively on Unix/Linux systems for monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and batch processing.
• Perform file handling, process monitoring, and system checks.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong understanding of Informatica BDM and DEI workflows.
• Experience with Unix/Linux systems and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
• Familiarity with big data platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, and Hive.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Basic knowledge of Python or Spark scripting.
