Devops Engineer

About the Role

As a DevOps Engineer at Infosys, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective design, development, validation, and support of technology solutions for our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to gather client requirements and translate them into system requirements, working closely with the delivery team to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.

You will be responsible for building efficient programs and systems, and contributing to the overall estimation of work requirements to provide accurate project estimations to Technology Leads and Project Managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex programs using various technologies such as GCP, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
• Translate functional and non-functional requirements into system requirements, ensuring that client needs are met.
• Contribute to the overall estimation of work requirements, providing accurate project estimations to Technology Leads and Project Managers.
• Design and code complex programs, ensuring that they meet the required quality standards.
• Write test cases and scenarios based on specifications, ensuring that the system meets the required functionality.
• Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends, applying this knowledge to improve project delivery.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Knowledge of design principles and fundamental architecture.
• Understanding of performance engineering and quality processes.
• Basic understanding of project domain.
• Ability to translate functional/non-functional requirements to system requirements.
• Ability to design and code complex programs.
• Knowledge of GCP, Terraform, Ansible, Grails, Groovy, Kubernetes, and Confluent Kafka.
