About the Role

Key responsibilities in your new role include teaming up with departments within BC to understand business demand for automation, consulting on technical feasibility and process optimization, and performing technical implementation of applications in close collaboration with peers and users.

Responsibilities

• Consult in both technical feasibility and process optimization looking at processes end-to-end as well as workflow optimization
• Perform the technical implementation of applications in close collaboration with your peers and the user
• Maintain the operation of tools including system maintenance, network administration, data management and services administration
• Help upskilling less technical colleagues

What You'll Need

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent field of studies
• A first understanding of IT architecture and the approach of digitalization teams
• Solid understanding of Linux, MariaDB/MySQL, and DevOps principles with practical application in production environments
• Already worked with OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker and KNIME
• Prior exposure to OKR or agile methodologies
• Fluency in English
