About the Role
As an Industrial Sales Engineer Mechanic at Industrial Machinery Stores, you will be responsible for selling industrial machinery and equipment to various clients across Guwahati. Your primary focus will be on understanding customer needs, providing product solutions, and building strong relationships with clients. You will work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and expand the company's customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the industrial machinery market.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Provide technical product knowledge and support to customers, addressing their queries and concerns.
- Work closely with the sales team to achieve sales targets and expand the company's customer base.
- Travel to client sites to demonstrate products, provide product training, and conduct sales meetings.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales materials, product brochures, and other marketing collateral.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and industrial machinery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
- Proven sales experience in the industrial machinery market, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong product knowledge and technical skills, with the ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts to customers.
- Ability to travel frequently to client sites, with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Certification in sales or business development, such as a sales certification or an MBA, is a plus.
