About the Role

As a Sales Representative I at IND India Medtronic Private, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key customers in the Kolkata region. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and preferences, and provide solutions that meet their clinical and business requirements.

Day-to-day, you will spend a significant amount of time on the road, visiting hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities to engage with customers, understand their pain points, and showcase our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base in the Kolkata region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including hospital administrators, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide clinical and business solutions to customers, including product demonstrations, training, and support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and operations, to understand customer needs and preferences.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies and tactics.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, and provide regular sales reports and updates to management.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, or a related field.
  • 0-4 years of experience in sales, preferably in the medical devices or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of sales principles, including customer relationship management, key account management, and clinical selling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and develop insights to inform sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
