For more information, please visitwww.inceptionai.ai Role Overview The DevSecOps Engineer at Inception is responsible for embedding security across the software development lifecycle, ensuring that AI products are built, deployed, and operated in a secure, scalable, and compliant manner. This role is a full-time position based in India (remote). Key Responsibilities • Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines and the overall DevOps lifecycle • Design and implement secure, automated build, test, and deployment pipelines • Identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities across systems and applications • Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) to ensure consistent and secure deployments • Develop automation tools and scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention • Monitor systems, logs, and security events to detect and respond to threats • Conduct security testing, audits, and vulnerability assessments • Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements • Collaborate with engineering teams to enforce secure coding and deployment practices • Drive adoption of a security-first mindset across engineering and operations Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field • Strong experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, or cybersecurity roles • Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, etc.) • Experience with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks • Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) • Familiarity with security tools, monitoring systems, and IaC tools The successful candidate will be engaged via an external workforce partner in line with Inception's operating model in the region.
