Associate Analyst Indirect Tax (Pune)

About the Role

In this role as an Associate Analyst Indirect Tax, you will be responsible for analyzing and processing indirect tax data, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. You will work closely with the tax team to identify and resolve tax-related issues, and provide support in the implementation of tax-related projects. Your day-to-day tasks will involve data analysis, research, and communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and analyze indirect tax data from various sources, including financial systems and ERP systems.
• Identify and resolve tax-related issues, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with the tax team to implement tax-related projects, and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Communicate with stakeholders, including internal teams and external vendors, to ensure smooth operation of tax-related processes.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of tax laws and regulations, and stay up-to-date with changes and updates.
• Provide support in the preparation of tax-related reports and documents, and ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Work independently to deliver results, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience with financial systems, ERP systems, and data processing.
• Knowledge of Oracle DB, MFGPRO, and SAP.
• Excellent communication and collaborative working skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver results.
• Certifications in tax-related fields, such as GST or VAT, are a plus.
