About the Role

As a Frontend Developer at ILA Online, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving existing web applications, ensuring they remain stable, efficient, and user-friendly. This involves working closely with product managers and other developers to enhance application features based on user feedback and business needs. You will also be responsible for debugging and troubleshooting issues in live applications, providing quick and effective solutions to ensure minimal disruption.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve existing web applications to ensure they remain stable, efficient, and user-friendly.
• Collaborate with product managers and other developers to enhance application features based on user feedback and business needs.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in live applications, providing quick and effective solutions to ensure minimal disruption.
• Optimize existing codebases for performance and scalability, making improvements where necessary.
• Implement new features and UI/UX enhancements while ensuring compatibility with the existing architecture.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure the code remains clean, maintainable, and well-documented.
• Build reusable code components and libraries that can be utilized across multiple projects.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with hands-on experience in frameworks like React.js, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Experience in debugging and improving existing codebases in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with integrating frontend applications with backend APIs.
• Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git, enabling effective collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a small team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks as needed to meet tight deadlines.
