About the Role
As a Payroll Executive and Accountant at Ikamate, you will be responsible for managing employee payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment of salaries, and maintaining compliance with statutory regulations. This role involves a combination of accounting, invoicing, and employee attendance reconciliation tasks. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure seamless financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll for employees, including salary calculations, deductions, and benefits.
- Manage employee attendance records, including leave and absence tracking.
- Reconcile employee attendance with payroll data to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and send invoices to clients, ensuring timely payment.
- Maintain compliance with statutory regulations, including tax and labor laws.
- Perform accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as Tally or QuickBooks.
- Knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
