Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA & Testing Intern to join our product This internship is ideal for BTech students (pursuing or fresh graduates) looking for hands-on industry experience in manual testing, automation testing, UI/UX validation, and basic security testing within a real-world product environment. The ideal candidate should possess a strong attention to detail, curiosity for finding defects, and a quality-first mindset while collaborating in a fast-paced startup environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Manual Testing & Quality Assurance Design and execute test cases for the Leapath web application Perform: Functional Testing Regression Testing Smoke Testing Sanity Testing Exploratory Testing Validate system functionality and ensure application stability across releases 2. Automation Testing Develop and maintain automation test scripts for repetitive workflows Support automation testing using tools such as: Selenium Cypress Playwright Assist in improving testing efficiency and coverage 3. Security & Vulnerability Testing Conduct basic security and vulnerability testing to identify risks Assist in validating application security based on: OWASP Top 10 principles Basic web security concepts Report security concerns and testing findings 4. UI/UX Testing Test application usability and responsiveness across: Browsers Devices Screen resolutions Ensure consistent user experience and visual accuracy Identify UI inconsistencies and usability issues 5. Defect Tracking & Bug Reporting Log, track, and document defects with: Detailed reproduction steps Screenshots/videos (if applicable) Severity and priority levels Collaborate with developers and the founding team to validate fixes Re-test resolved issues and confirm closure 6. Documentation & Reporting Maintain: Test cases Test execution reports Defect logs QA documentation repository Contribute to improving testing processes and standards Required Skills & Expertise Core Testing Skills Basic understanding of: Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Knowledge of: Functional Testing Regression Testing Smoke Testing Sanity Testing Manual Testing Methodologies Technical Skills Exposure to automation testing tools ( preferred ): Selenium Cypress Playwright Basic understanding of: HTML CSS JavaScript Awareness of: OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities Basic security testing concepts Tools Knowledge (Preferred) Jira Linear Trello Bug Tracking & Task Management Tools Soft Skills Strong written communication for clear bug reporting Attention to detail with a quality-first mindset Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Curiosity and proactive problem-solving attitude Ability to work independently in a remote environment Team collaboration and time management skills
