Full Stack QA (Pune City)

About the Role

In this Full Stack QA role at HTC Global Services, you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications from development to deployment. Your day-to-day tasks will involve functional testing, automation testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases for software applications using BDD frameworks and API automation tools.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Java and Playwright for UI automation testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and prioritize defects, and provide timely feedback on test results.
• Conduct functional testing and exploratory testing to ensure software applications meet requirements and specifications.
• Develop and maintain test data, test environments, and test infrastructure to support automation testing.
• Identify and report defects to development teams, and work with them to resolve issues.
• Participate in agile development methodologies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 0-4 years of experience in software testing, preferably in a full-stack QA role.
• Strong knowledge of functional testing, automation testing, and test case design.
• Experience with Java, Playwright, BDD frameworks, API automation, Rest Assured, and Postman.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Certifications in software testing, such as ISTQB or CSTE, are a plus.
