Computer Vision Engineer
About the Role
Objective: The team is building advanced Computer Vision solutions focused on tire inspection and analysis for passenger and aircraft tires. Key focus areas include: Reading and interpreting tire sidewall markings using Computer Vision models Developing custom deep learning models for OCR and visual inspection tasks Improving and optimizing already deployed models Working on 3D Vision use cases to analyze tire wear and surface degradation Technical Expectations: Strong understanding of Computer Vision fundamentals Good knowledge of Neural Networks and Deep Learning Experience with Transformer-based vision models and CNN-based architectures Exposure to Vision Language Models (VLMs) Understanding of image augmentation and experimentation techniques Ability to work at pixel-level understanding and image analysis Key Areas of Work: OCR / visual recognition 3D Vision Multi-task learning Model experimentation and optimization Real-world industrial imaging problems Hiring Expectations: Exact model or architecture experience is not mandatory Team is flexible on background fit if fundamentals are strong Strong logical thinking and problem-solving capability is highly preferred Candidate should have an experimentation mindset and adaptability toward modern Computer Vision techniques Value Proposition of the Role: Opportunity to work on latest Computer Vision technologies Exposure to Transformer models, VLMs, Multi-task learning, and 3D Vision Real-world production AI applications with deployed systems
