Data Scientist I

About the Role

In this role as a Data Scientist I at Honeywell Technologies, you will be working with large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing machine learning models to solve complex problems. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy machine learning models using Python and relevant libraries such as Pandas and Scikit-learn.
• Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends and patterns, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement data pipelines and architectures.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop data-driven solutions to meet those needs.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and data science, and apply that knowledge to improve models and processes.
• Contribute to the development of data science best practices and standards within the organization.

Skills & Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming language, including experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
• Experience with machine learning algorithms and techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning.
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and techniques, including hypothesis testing and confidence intervals.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Matplotlib and Seaborn.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
