Data Analyst

About the Role

As a Data Analyst at Hitachi Energy, you will be responsible for extracting insights from large datasets to inform business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement and develop data-driven solutions. Your day-to-day tasks will involve data analysis, visualization, and reporting using tools like SQL, MS Excel, and Power BI.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain databases to store and manage large datasets
• Design and implement data visualization dashboards using Power BI
• Analyze data to identify trends and patterns, and provide insights to stakeholders
• Collaborate with business teams to understand their data needs and develop data-driven solutions
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization
• Communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders through reports and presentations
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Proficiency in SQL, MS Excel, and Power BI
• Basic knowledge of Python programming language
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
