About the Role

As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving sales growth for our organization. Your day-to-day tasks will involve lead generation, prospecting, and pipeline management to ensure a steady stream of new business leads. You will work closely with our sales team to understand customer needs and develop targeted sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business leads through inside sales, lead generation, and prospecting activities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, understanding their business needs and developing targeted sales strategies.
  • Manage and maintain a sales pipeline, tracking leads and opportunities from initial contact to closure.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, and to develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Utilize CRM software to track and manage sales interactions, leads, and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, and be able to communicate their value to potential clients.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Inside Sales experience, with a proven track record of lead generation and sales success.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with potential clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment, with a strong focus on meeting sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, with experience using tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and develop targeted sales strategies.
  • Certification in sales or business development, such as a Certified Sales Professional (CSP) designation.
