Assistant Accountant

About the Role

As an Assistant Accountant at HIGH DIVE INTERNATIONAL, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including balance sheets, trial balances, and cash journals. You will also be involved in the preparation of financial statements and reports, as well as ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in accounting software such as Tally ERP. You will work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including balance sheets, trial balances, and cash journals.
• Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including direct tax laws and regulations.
• Perform accounting tasks, including journal entries, ledger postings, and account reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and provide financial analysis and recommendations to management.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, and stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally ERP.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Knowledge of direct tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
