About the Role

As a Python Developer at HCLSoftware, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using Python programming language. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Python-based software applications, following industry best practices and coding standards.

• Write and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and other types of tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the software.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve code quality and adhere to coding standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Python trends, libraries, and frameworks, and apply this knowledge to improve the development process.
• Document code, APIs, and other technical artifacts to ensure knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation, guides, and tutorials to support the team and the organization.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Python programming language, including its syntax, data structures, and standard libraries.
• Experience with popular Python frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• Familiarity with databases, including relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Understanding of software development life cycles, including Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex issues and optimize code for performance.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
