Java Developer

About the Role

As a Java Developer at hackajob, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications using Java programming language. Your primary focus will be on writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code to meet the requirements of various projects. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test Java-based software applications, following best practices and coding standards.

• Write high-quality, well-documented code, adhering to coding standards and ensuring code readability and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure that code meets the required standards and best practices.
• Identify and report bugs, and work with the team to resolve them in a timely manner.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies, frameworks, and tools, and apply this knowledge to improve the quality and efficiency of software development.
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation, including user manuals, technical guides, and API documentation.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Java programming language, including syntax, semantics, and best practices.
• Experience with Java development frameworks, such as Spring or Hibernate.
• Knowledge of Java-based databases, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
• Good understanding of software design patterns and principles, including SOLID principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Relevant work experience in Java development, preferably in an Agile environment.
