Data Analyst

About the Role

As a Data Analyst at hackajob, you will be responsible for extracting insights from large datasets, identifying trends, and providing data-driven recommendations to inform business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop data visualizations to communicate complex information to stakeholders.

Day-to-day, you will spend most of your time analyzing data, creating reports, and developing dashboards using various tools and technologies. You will also be expected to collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate data into business applications and develop predictive models.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations
• Develop and maintain data visualizations using Power BI and other tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop data-driven recommendations
• Develop and maintain databases using SQL and other tools
• Work with data scientists and engineers to integrate data into business applications and develop predictive models
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to communicate complex information to stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analysis and visualization

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of data analysis and visualization concepts
• Proficiency in SQL, MS Excel, Python, and Power BI
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau
