ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Executive to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers or early-career professionals to build a strong foundation in accounting, GST compliance, and client billing within a fast-growing service-based organization. You will work hands-on with Zoho Books to manage the complete accounts payable and receivable cycle, statutory compliance, and client invoicing. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Prepare and send client quotations and invoices accurately and on time using Zoho Books • Record and reconcile bank entries; perform periodic bank reconciliation statements (BRS) • Account for client reimbursements and out-of-pocket expense recoveries with proper documentation • Manage accounts receivable — track outstanding invoices, follow up on payments, and update collection records • Manage accounts payable — process vendor bills, schedule payments, and maintain vendor ledgers • Compute and process TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) payments within statutory deadlines; file TDS returns • Handle GST compliance — prepare and file GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and manage Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM) transactions • Maintain accurate books in Zoho Books and ensure month-end closure activities are completed • Coordinate with internal teams and clients for supporting documents and finance queries REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, or Finance; M.Com or CA Inter preferred • 0–2 years of experience in accounting or a finance operations role • Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and RCM provisions under Indian tax law • Hands-on experience or academic exposure to Zoho Books or similar accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks) • Proficiency in MS Excel — VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and basic formulas • Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to meet compliance deadlines • Good written and verbal communication skills for client and vendor coordination NICE TO HAVE • Prior experience in a service-based company or professional services firm • Familiarity with e-invoicing and GST portal operations • Basic understanding of financial reporting and MIS preparation WHAT WE OFFER • Structured learning environment with exposure to end-to-end accounting functions • Mentorship from experienced finance professionals • Opportunity to grow within the organization as skills develop • Competitive salary as per industry standards #AccountsExecutive #ZohoBooks #GSTFiling #TDSCompliance #AccountsReceivable #AccountsPayable #BankReconciliation #Fresher #FinanceJobs #ServiceIndustry
