About the Role

As an Intern - Account Receivable at GLG, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely payments from customers. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include monitoring accounts, contacting customers to discuss overdue payments, and maintaining records of promises to pay. You will also be responsible for investigating and resolving payment discrepancies, coordinating with sales professionals, and assisting in A/R reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor accounts daily and take action to encourage timely payments by customers.
• Contact customers to discuss overdue payments and maintain records of promises to pay.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Coordinate with sales professionals on follow-up efforts and client refunds.
• Apply credits on account.
• Assist in A/R reporting.
• Perform month-end bank closing tasks related to AR.

Skills & Qualifications

• Graduation in commerce or accounting.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Customer-service oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to develop effective working relationships across the company's operations.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Basic understanding of accounts receivable processes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
