About the Role
As a Junior Software Developer at GE Appliances, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications for various products and services. Your primary focus will be on application development, systems management, and optimization, using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications for various products and services.
- Design and implement systems management and optimization solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Contribute to the development of new features and enhancements.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 0-3 years of work experience in software development.
- Strong understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Knowledge of database management systems such as SQL and Oracle.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Version control systems such as Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
