About the Role
In this role as a Finance and Tax Analyst at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. You will work closely with the finance team to identify areas for process improvement and implement automation solutions to increase efficiency. Your day-to-day tasks will involve reviewing financial statements, preparing budgets, and providing financial insights to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
- Design and maintain financial models and reports
- Provide financial insights to stakeholders and support business decision-making
- Collaborate with the finance team to identify areas for automation and implement solutions
- Review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced functions and pivot tables
- Knowledge of financial regulations and tax laws
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as MIS and data analytics software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Certification in accounting or finance, such as CA or CFA, is a plus
