Backend Developer

About the Role

As a Backend Developer at FirstFiling, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic, database integration, and API connectivity of our software applications. This role involves working closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration of features and resolving technical issues that arise during deployment. You will also be involved in testing, debugging, and optimizing the performance of our backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, scalable, and secure backend systems using PHP, Python, and Node.js.
• Collaborate with the development team to integrate new features and resolve technical issues.
• Develop and implement database schema designs using MySQL, MongoDB, MariaDB, and Neo4j.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth and Firebase.
• Work with the team to identify and prioritize technical tasks and projects.
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation and knowledge base.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in PHP, Python, and Node.js programming languages.
• Experience with MySQL, MongoDB, MariaDB, and Neo4j databases.
• Familiarity with OAuth and Firebase authentication mechanisms.
• Knowledge of Git version control system.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
