Tax Payroll Advanced Analyst

About the Role

As a Tax Payroll Advanced Analyst at Ernst & Young LLP (EY India), you will be responsible for analyzing and processing complex tax and payroll data. This role involves working with various stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely compliance with tax laws and regulations. Your day-to-day tasks will include data analysis, problem-solving, and communication with team members and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and analyze tax and payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Develop and maintain spreadsheets and other tools to streamline data analysis and reporting.
• Communicate complex tax and payroll information to clients and team members through written reports and presentations.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies and errors in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless delivery of tax and payroll services.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and implement new processes and procedures as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients by responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends and patterns.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, with the ability to create complex spreadsheets and formulas.
• Strong general math skills, with the ability to perform calculations and analyze data.
• Payroll experience, with knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
• 0-4 years of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of tax and payroll principles.
