About the Role

As an Audit Intern - Assurance Services at Ernst & Young Llp (Ey India), you will be responsible for assisting senior auditors in conducting audits, reviewing financial statements, and identifying areas for improvement. Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior auditors in conducting audits, including reviewing financial statements, identifying areas for improvement, and providing recommendations to clients.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their business operations and providing valuable insights to enhance their financial performance.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement in financial statements and business operations.
• Prepare and present audit reports, including financial statements, to clients and senior management.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on audit planning, execution, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
• Collaborate with other teams, such as tax and advisory, to provide comprehensive services to clients.

Skills & Qualifications

• CA Intermediate certification or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze complex financial data.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and senior management.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate with clients and stakeholders.
