About the Role

As an Advanced Business Valuations Analyst at Ernst & Young LLP (EY India), you will be responsible for conducting in-depth analyses of financial data to determine the value of businesses, assets, and securities. Your day-to-day tasks will involve developing and implementing financial models, analyzing market trends, and providing expert opinions on valuation matters. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex financial models using MS Excel, VBA, and MATLAB to analyze business performance and estimate valuations.
• Conduct equity research and analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and provide expert opinions on valuation matters.
• Prepare and present financial reports, presentations, and other materials to clients and stakeholders.
• Analyze financial data and market trends to identify areas of improvement and opportunities for growth.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in business valuations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, VBA, and MATLAB.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with clients and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of financial modeling, equity research, and corporate finance.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new tools and technologies.
