About the Role

In this role as a MENA Tax Payroll-Advanced Analyst-E at Ernst & Young (EY), you will be responsible for providing advanced analytical support to the tax and payroll teams in the Middle East and North Africa region. Your day-to-day tasks will involve analyzing complex data, identifying trends, and developing insights to inform business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of tax and payroll services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of tax and payroll reports, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and insights that inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Provide advanced analytical support to the tax and payroll teams, including data modeling and forecasting.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax and payroll regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of tax and payroll systems, including software and tools.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, with the ability to create complex models and reports.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as accounting, finance, or business administration.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CPA or CMA, are a plus.
