SAP BW Consultant - Functional Consultant

About the Role

A SAP BW Consultant - Functional Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP Business Warehouse (BW) solutions. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and developing data models, data transformations, and reporting structures to meet those needs.

As a functional consultant, you will be working with various stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, and IT professionals, to ensure that the SAP BW solution meets the business requirements and is delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement SAP BW data models, data transformations, and reporting structures to meet business requirements.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
• Develop and maintain data warehouses, data marts, and reporting systems using SAP BW.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure that the SAP BW solution is integrated with other systems and applications.
• Develop and maintain data quality and data governance processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Perform data analysis and provide insights to stakeholders to help them make informed business decisions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP BW features and technologies and apply that knowledge to improve the SAP BW solution.

Skills & Qualifications

• SAP BW certification (or willingness to obtain it)
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques
• Experience with SAP BW data modeling, data transformations, and reporting structures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Relevant experience in SAP BW or a related field (1-2 years)
