About the Role

In this Management Trainee-Renewables role at Emerson, you will be responsible for conducting market assessments, competitor analysis, and curating weekly newsletters to keep sales teams informed about upcoming greenfield projects in datacenters, nuclear-SMR, and renewables.

You will also support the driving of program KPIs by monitoring and reporting progress against growth metrics.

This role will enable accelerated growth by equipping sales teams with timely intelligence, enhancing competitive positioning, and driving structured execution of global greenfield initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct structured evaluations of datacenter, SMR, and renewable opportunities across regions.
  • Benchmark adjacent players, track positioning, and provide actionable insights through competitor analysis.
  • Curate and deliver weekly Power Projects newsletters to World Area Sales teams on upcoming greenfield projects.
  • Monitor and report progress against growth metrics to support driving program KPIs.
  • Prepare concise, professional outputs (PPT, newsletters, dashboards, KPI trackers) to support sales teams and program leaders.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to gather market intelligence and inform program strategies.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong background in technical marketing and data analysis within power and renewables.
  • Experience in stakeholder communication and relationship-building.
  • Ability to synthesize market intelligence and work with program leaders to derive actionable strategies.
  • Skilled in preparing concise, professional outputs (PPT, newsletters, dashboards, KPI trackers).
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, engineering, or environmental science.
  • Proficiency in tools such as dashboards, technical marketing, and data analysis software.
