About the Role

As an Intern or Co‑op at Emerson in Pune, you’ll spend your days bridging the gap between engineering teams and customers. You’ll gather requirements, document solutions, and support the Quote‑to‑Cash cycle while learning how industrial automation products are sold and serviced.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and support teams to translate customer needs into technical specifications.
• Provide pre‑order and post‑order assistance to distributors and end‑users, ensuring queries are resolved within SLA.
• Maintain accurate customer data in the CRM, updating contact details, product interests, and support tickets.
• Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and technical documentation using MS Office and PowerPoint.
• Coordinate cross‑functional tasks, tracking progress in project management tools and reporting status to supervisors.
• Participate in product demos and field visits to understand isolation valves, actuators, and instrumentation components.
• Analyze customer feedback and help identify process improvements for the Quote‑to‑Cash workflow.

Skills & Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Instrumentation, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Knowledge of basic metallurgy, fluid mechanics, or material science concepts.
• Interest in industrial automation, testing methods, and customer support.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Exposure to internships or projects involving industrial processes or product support is a plus.
