About the Role

As an Intern / Co-op at Emerson, you will be supporting various activities such as engineering documentation, Bill of Materials (BOM) preparation, reporting, and tool management. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation accuracy, material readiness, and compliance with quality standards while gaining hands-on industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain Key to Manufacturing (KTM) and Technical Operations Validation (TOV) documentation.
• Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) for various projects.
• Manage tools, gauges, and instruments to ensure their accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor and prepare performance reports to track project progress.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for project execution and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Maintain documentation accuracy and process efficiency by identifying opportunities for improvement.

Skills & Qualifications

• B.E / B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
• Knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM), engineering documentation, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic understanding of quality standards, calibration processes, and performance reporting.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
