About the Role
An SMSF Accountant at EH TAX ACCOUNTANTS is responsible for providing expert accounting and tax services to Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs). This role involves preparing and lodging financial statements, tax returns, and ensuring compliance with SMSF regulations.
As an SMSF Accountant, you will work closely with clients to understand their financial goals and provide tailored advice to help them achieve their objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and lodge financial statements and tax returns for SMSFs
- Ensure compliance with SMSF regulations and laws
- Provide expert advice on SMSF investment strategies and financial planning
- Conduct audits and reviews of SMSF financial statements and tax returns
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial goals and objectives
- Stay up-to-date with changes in SMSF regulations and laws to provide expert advice to clients
- Collaborate with other accountants and tax professionals to ensure seamless service delivery
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as Xero or MYOB
- Strong knowledge of SMSF regulations and laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently with MS Excel
- Record keeping and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
