About the Role
As a Data Entry Operator for a CA firm in Surat, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering financial data into various software systems, including Tally ERP and QuickBooks. You will work closely with the accounting team to ensure that all financial records are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the firm's financial data.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter financial data into Tally ERP and QuickBooks with high accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and journals
- Verify and reconcile financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Provide support to the accounting team in preparing financial statements and reports
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the firm's financial systems and processes
- Identify and report any discrepancies or errors in financial data
- Meet productivity and quality standards for data entry tasks
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong typing skills with a minimum of 40 wpm
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with Tally ERP and/or QuickBooks
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial records
- Degree in Commerce or related field (B.Com, M.Com, etc.)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
