About the Role
As a Business and Collection Officer at Ecomark General Finance and Leasing Ltd, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of payments from customers, and maintaining accurate financial records. Your day-to-day tasks will involve analyzing financial data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to optimize cash flow. You will also be expected to maintain strong relationships with customers, resolving any issues or concerns they may have.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate records of accounts receivable, including customer payments and outstanding balances.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve cash flow and reduce days sales outstanding (DSO).
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Communicate with customers to resolve any issues or concerns related to payments or accounts.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX and other regulatory requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in accounts receivable and financial management.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with accounting software, including QuickBooks.
- Knowledge of SOX and other regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Valid two-wheeler license.
