About the Role

As an Eaton Apprentice IT, you will be working on developing and supporting the frontend and backend of web applications, focusing on process-related and technical activities for frontend applications in the Service & Support value stream.

Within this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with the team in an Agile, product-centric setup, ensuring that application-development best practices and existing standards are followed.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and support the frontend and backend of web applications, ensuring seamless integration and user experience.
• Work on process-related and technical activities for frontend applications in the Service & Support value stream, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
• Assist with DevOps and release-management activities, ensuring smooth deployment and maintenance of web applications.
• Collaborate with the team to implement application-development best practices and existing standards, promoting a culture of quality and excellence.
• Participate in Agile, product-centric setup, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.
• Help in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to web applications, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum user satisfaction.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C#, Java, and JavaScript (including Angular and Express.js).
• Experience with version control systems like GitHub and Git.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Jira project management tool.
• Knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
