About the Role
As an Engineer – Reliability at Eaton, you will be responsible for creating and revising deliverables that drive reliability goals, predictions, and analysis. Your day-to-day tasks will involve analyzing field and warranty data to provide life and failure-rate information, supporting reliability growth analysis for new products, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve product reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze field and warranty data to extract life and failure-rate information, providing insights to improve product reliability.
- Create and revise DFR deliverables, including reliability goals, predictions, FMEA, ALT, RDT, and FRACAS.
- Support reliability growth analysis for new product introductions, value-added engineering, and existing-product improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional design, quality, and manufacturing teams to drive reliability improvements.
- Develop and document reliability tools, methods, and results, providing recommendations for process improvements.
- Work with stakeholders to identify and prioritize reliability improvement opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of reliability metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to drive insights.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including data visualization and statistical analysis.
- Experience with reliability tools and methods, including FMEA, ALT, RDT, and FRACAS.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to product reliability.
- Express.js programming skills (nice to have).
