Software Engineer

About the Role

As a Software Engineer at DHL BHARAT, you will be part of a global team of IT professionals working on innovative digital solutions to keep the global economy running. Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain backend services, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability across distributed systems.

You will also be expected to integrate AI tools into daily development for coding assistance, test generation, and root cause analysis, and work independently and collaborate across global teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Integrate AI tools into daily development for coding assistance, test generation, and root cause analysis.
• Work independently and collaborate across global teams to resolve incidents and troubleshoot issues.
• Communicate with vendors to resolve firmware bugs, vulnerabilities, and other issues related to our technologies.
• Ensure security awareness and compliance in every aspect of the system.
• Provide third-level day-to-day operation support and help investigate and resolve incidents.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, IBM MQ, CI/CD (Github Actions), and Linux.
• Understanding of Podman, Kubernetes, and cloud native development.
• Ability to use AI tools for code generation, refactoring, documentation, and troubleshooting.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
