About the Role

The IT Application Owner (ITAO) is responsible for managing and maintaining applications, ensuring compliance with IT policies and procedures, and leading discussions with business stakeholders for new requirements.

They will also be responsible for implementing and upgrading system hardware and application software, as well as delivering application releases and defect fixes.

The ITAO will work closely with the team to ensure the smooth transition of applications into production and provide Level 3 Production support services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain applications to ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
• Set up various environments for development, testing, and production.
• Implement and upgrade system hardware and application software.
• Lead discussions with business stakeholders for new requirements.
• Deliver application releases and defect fixes.
• Assist more junior members of the team and control their work where applicable.
• Perform enterprise IT governance, information security, and other related tasks.

Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of system design, development, implementation, and user support principles and practices.
• Familiarity with project management principles.
• Knowledge of application architectures and fundamental principles of software interfaces.
• Knowledge of IT risk and controls, IT security.
• COBIT/ITIL/PMP/CRISC/CSSLP/CISSP/equivalent certifications preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Profound analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
