## Role Overview

## Key Responsibilities

• Develop, design and keep test scripts that are automated using functional requirements as well as manual test instances.

• Automate regression test suites and analyse results to ensure that the application is of high quality.

• Validation of banking core workflows, including accounts management, fund transfers and processing credit cards.

• Conduct API testing to ensure that RESTful services are tested using the right tools.

• Monitor and control defects with tools like Jira until they are resolved.

• Run SQL queries to ensure the validation of data at the backend and for transaction accuracy.

• Update test scripts to accommodate changes to the user interface of applications, as well as business.

## Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

• Experience using automation frameworks, such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or Rest Assured.

• A working knowledge of Java or Python to create test scripts.

• Experience working with API testing tools such as Postman.

• An understanding of basic of testing mobile devices using Appium.

• Capability to compose and perform SQL queries to validate database data.

• A sharp analytical mind, a keen concentration on details and strong communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experimentation with AI-driven testing methods.

• Previous experience in banking and other financial service applications.
