About the Role
This Product Sales Specialist role in Cash & Trade - Transaction Banking at DBS Bank India Limited involves working closely with clients to understand their cash and trade management needs, identifying opportunities to provide tailored solutions, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
As a Product Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong relationships with clients, and staying up-to-date with market trends and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets for Cash Management and Trade Finance products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product specialists, relationship managers, and operations teams, to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, regulatory requirements, and competitor activity to ensure the bank remains competitive and compliant.
- Provide regular MIS reporting to senior management on sales performance, client engagement, and market trends.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell Cash Management and Trade Finance products to existing clients.
- Participate in business development initiatives, including market research, product development, and sales training programs.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
- 0-4 years of experience in sales, client management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Cash Management, Trade Finance, and related products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of digital solutions and fintech trends in the banking industry.
