React Front end developer

About the Role

As a React Front-end Developer at Crisil, you will be responsible for designing and developing visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for our web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into functional and efficient front-end solutions.

With a focus on delivering high-quality code, you will ensure that our applications are scalable, maintainable, and meet the highest standards of performance and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop front-end components using React, ensuring they are responsive, accessible, and meet the company's branding guidelines.
• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with APIs and ensure seamless data exchange.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high coding standards and ensure the quality of the codebase.
• Work with the design team to implement design specifications and ensure that the front-end aligns with the company's visual identity.
• Develop and maintain reusable front-end components, ensuring they are modular, efficient, and easy to maintain.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues, collaborating with the development team to resolve complex problems.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies, frameworks, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve our front-end development processes.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of React and its ecosystem, including React Hooks, Context API, and React Router.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with a focus on writing clean, efficient, and well-structured code.
• Knowledge of front-end build tools, such as Webpack, Babel, and ESLint.
• Familiarity with state management libraries, such as Redux or MobX.
• Experience with front-end testing frameworks, such as Jest or Mocha.
• Strong understanding of web accessibility guidelines and best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Portfolio that showcases your front-end development skills and experience.
