About the Role
This Medical Coder role is perfect for Microbiology freshers who are eager to apply their analytical skills in a healthcare setting. As a Medical Coder, you will be responsible for reviewing patient medical records, identifying documentation gaps, and assigning standardized medical codes.

Key Responsibilities
- Review patient medical records and clinical documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain productivity and quality standards by meeting deadlines and adhering to coding guidelines.
- Identify documentation gaps and escalate queries to quality analysts or team leads when necessary.
- Stay updated on coding guidelines and healthcare regulations to ensure compliance.
- Work collaboratively with quality analysts and team leads to resolve coding queries and improve coding accuracy.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Microbiology.
- Basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Good analytical, communication, and computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Certification in Medical Coding is an added advantage but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in English language.
