About the Role
As a Service Officer in Branch Banking, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling cash transactions, and promoting business opportunities to customers. You will work closely with customers to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Process cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
- Provide information on various banking products and services to customers.
- Upsell and cross-sell banking products to customers to increase revenue.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate degree in any discipline.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic knowledge of banking products and services.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
- Cash handling and transaction processing skills.
- MBA or related field is a plus.
